Mrs. McMaster joined Scholarship Prep in March 2020 as a Health Tech, then, in July 2020, as the attendance clerk, and is now our Office Manager. Before Scholarship Prep, she worked as a Special Ed Teacher's Assistant and a tutor for the afterschool program at various schools for the Enterprise Elementary School District in Redding, CA, for the past three years. However, that was not her first experience working in schools; she fell in love working with children when she volunteered at her son's high school in various classes. From there, she started working as a substitute Health Tech and a Bilingual Paraeducator in different schools for the Lake Elsinore Unified School District. She has made working in the educational field her priority as she feels she is most rewarded when working with young minds.
As the mother of two Scholars, Mrs. Hunter's school volunteer work has consistently led her to care for students on campus and become passionate about their schooling. Although her educational background is in the medical field, Mrs. Hunter joined the staff here at Scholarship Prep as a Meal Supervisor before her current position as Attendance Clerk. She feels very fortunate to be part of this fantastic team.
