Mrs. Charity Grieshaber

Mrs. Charity Grieshaber steps into her first year as Principal at Scholarship Prep Oceanside, bringing 17 years of experience in education, including three years as the school's counselor. With a Master’s in Education from Point Loma University and a Pupil Personnel Services Credential, she is committed to supporting student well-being and cultivating a positive school culture. Mrs. Grieshaber has also spent 10 years in various educational support roles, gaining firsthand knowledge of school operations and student needs. She is passionate about trauma-informed and restorative practices, ensuring that every student feels valued and supported. A proud resident of San Marcos, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Josh, and their three children, as well as adventuring outdoors, creating art, and cooking.

Dr. Nicholas Sessions

Dr. Nicholas Sessions is a dedicated education leader with over 15 years of public education experience. He has taught at both the secondary and college levels and served in multiple leadership roles within the charter school sector. His leadership focuses on targeted instruction, collaboration, and community engagement.

Beyond his professional role, Dr. Sessions is an active advocate for individuals with disabilities and serves as an Orange County Parent Representative for Autism Speaks. He lives in Huntington Beach with his wife, Charlee, and their three children, Gatsby (6), Marvelle (3), and Elowyn (5 mo.). When not at work, he enjoys playing with his kids and riding his motorcycle.

From tacos to tag and everything in between, Lunch on the Lawn was a hit! Hosted by Scholarship Prep Oceanside’s amazing Sources of Strength peer leaders, the event brought Scholars, families, teachers, and staff together for an end-of-week break full of good food, good vibes, and great games.

However, our Oceanside middle schoolers took it a step further with a real-world College Crawl, visiting both Cal State University San Marcos (CSUSM) and MiraCosta College for a firsthand look at campus life and academic opportunities.
