At Scholarship Prep, every classroom is named after a university to immerse students in a collegiate mindset from day one. However, our Oceanside middle schoolers took it a step further with a real-world College Crawl, visiting both Cal State University San Marcos (CSUSM) and MiraCosta College for a firsthand look at campus life and academic opportunities.

Our College & Career Week brought an exciting lineup of guest speakers, themed dress-up days, and engaging discussions to help our Scholars explore their potential career paths and educational journeys.

Months of hard work and dedication paid off as more than 100 TK-8th grade students from Scholarship Prep’s Dance Elective and SOS Dance Team delivered high-energy performances, rehearsing both during elective time and after school.

With her dedication to both students and fellow educators, Cotton continues to shape the TK and Kindergarten experience at Scholarship Prep Oceanside. Her journey from first-year teacher to lead educator is a testament to the power of adaptability, collaboration, and a deep passion for early education.

At Scholarship Prep Oceanside, we strive to create events that motivate our students and honor our shared history. Our recent Pep Rally brought together students and staff for a morning filled with excitement and unity.

Beyond our meetings on Capitol Hill, we collaborated with nonprofit leaders from across the country, exchanging ideas on strengthening programs that provide stability and educational opportunities for vulnerable students.
