How to Apply

Open Enrollment Begins December 1st

Steps to ENROLLMENT
Applying to Scholarship Prep is quick and easy! If you need assistance with this process, please contact our team and we would be happy to help you.
Step 1
Submit an Application
- Go to sp.schoolmint.com
- Create a parent or guardian account
- Submit one application per child
If you do not have an email address or need assistance, contact us.
Step 2
Wait for Notification
- You will be notified by email or phone (based on your communication preference)
- If space is available, you will receive an offer of enrollment
- If space is not available, your child will be placed on the waitlist
Step 3
Accept Your Offer of Enrollment
- Once you receive an offer for enrollment, log back in to sp.schoolmint.com to accept your child’s seat.
- Please complete this step promptly, as offers are time-sensitive and may expire if not accepted by the deadline.
Step FOUR
Complete Enrollment Registration Online
After accepting your enrollment offer, log in to sp.schoolmint.com and complete the registration form. Please Note: Enrollment registration is an additional form submission separate from your enrollment application.

Proof of Residency
*Current Utility Bill.
Immunization Records
Most Recent Grade Report
As applicable for students currently enrolled in TK-8th grades.
Student's IEP or 504 Plan
If applicable
Once these materials are reviewed and approved, your enrollment will be complete. You can expect to receive monthly newsletters and communications from your campus and details about the 2026-2027 school calendar and back to school dates as they become available.

Open Enrollment & Lottery
- Open enrollment will take place Monday, December 1, 2025.
- If there are more applicants than available seats, a lottery will take place on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.
- Families will be notified of placement shortly thereafter via email or by phone. You may also track your applicant's status by logging in at sp.schoolmint.com.
- Applications received after the open enrollment period will be processed on a first come, first served basis and enrollment will continue until all seats are filled.
Take the Next Steps
*Scholarship Prep does not collect, request, or share information about immigration status. If you are unable to provide proof of residency due to sharing housing with others or are experiencing housing insecurity, your child is eligible for enrollment and our team is here to help guide you through the enrollment process. Foster/homeless youth may not be required to present all documents. Please let us help you with enrollment in special circumstances.
