Pep Squad

I have two sons at SPOS, one in 2nd grade and one in Kindergarten. This is my third term serving on the Pep Squad board. I am also a soccer coach with the Breakers and a substitute teacher. I love working with kids and helping to make their experiences educational and fun. In our free time as a family we love to swim, hike, and explore different north county playgrounds.

Hi Sharks! This is my third term serving on SPOS Pep Squad, and I’m honored to continue supporting our school community! I’m a proud parent of a 6th grade scholar and enjoy volunteering to help build a strong, connected community where every voice is heard and valued.

With a career in biotech Operations and Compliance, I bring an organized approach to our team. In my free time, I love making memories with my family, whether it’s watching movies, camping, or cheering from the stands as a dedicated baseball mom at Oceanside Little League. I believe that when parents, teachers, and students work together, we create the best environment for our schools to thrive.

Hi, I’m Amber Kae (Niuatoa), a proud mom of two awesome kids at Scholarship Prep – one in 2nd grade and one in 6th. We’ve been part of the Scholarship Prep family since my oldest, Pule, started in TK, and we’ve loved every step of the journey!I joined the Prep Squad in 2022 because I wanted to be more involved in the magic that happens behind the scenes—and I haven’t looked back! When I’m not momming or cheering from the sidelines, I’m teaching Sociology at MiraCosta College and running my own wellness business focused on helping people connect mind, body, and spirit. I love hiking, standing on my head (yes, literally—headstands are my jam), and teaching people how to breathe better, stress less, and feel more alive. Looking forward to getting to know you and working together to NamaSLAY this school year!

My son started at SPO last year, and is now in 1st grade! In my past life, I was a high school cheer coach for 7 years. I loved being involved in getting parents and admin to work together. Now, I am a Realtor, and still enjoy finding ways to connect the community. When we aren’t traveling back to Utah to visit family, you can count on finding us at the beach!

Hi Sharks! I’m Ingrid, and this is my third year at SPOS. I have three kids, two of whom attend SPOS, with my third joining hopefully next year. I joined Pep Squad this year in hopes of getting more involved in activities and events, ensuring our students and their families have a wonderful year.  

My family and I moved to California about three years ago, and we are loving the beach life. We love spending time outdoors, trying new restaurants, and meeting new people.

I work full-time in non-profit management and am constantly trying to find that work-life balance (as a mom, does that even exist?).
