Educational Learning Opportunities Program

Scholarship Prep’s Before and After School Program is offered free of charge to students currently enrolled at our schools.

Registration is required and enrollment is dependent upon available space.

Clubs and Teams

Scholarship Prep’s after-school clubs are where Scholars explore their passions and discover new skills! From basketball, advanced art, and dance to cheer and drum line, there’s a space for every interest. Clubs provide a lively extension of each school day!

Academic Support

Scholars receive free academic support, including homework help and skill-building activities, to strengthen their learning and boost confidence. It’s all about empowering students to succeed, with resources tailored to help them master essential academic skills.

Seasonal Enrichment

The Intercession Program offers seasonal enrichment during select days over summer, fall, and winter breaks. With fun activities and exciting field trips, Scholars stay engaged and explore new interests—making breaks a time for both learning and unforgettable experiences!

After-School Program Hours

The program will follow the regular school year calendar during the following hours:

  • Monday - Thursday: 3:15 pm to 5:30 pm
  • Fridays: 12:15 pm to 5:30 pm

Register for the After-School Program

Complete the YMCA Registration FormRegistration Link. Submit one form per student.

Create a My Y AccountMy Y Account. Create an account and add each student under "My Household."

Complete the Waiver Form: After registering, you’ll receive a link via email to create a password and access your My Y account. You’ll then receive a waiver form to complete.

Pick-Up Locations and Requirements

General Requirements:
Parents and guardians must have their I.D. with them every day for pick-up. Please note that only listed emergency contacts will be allowed to pick up your student.

Grades 1-8:
When you arrive, please park and walk to the white gate.

TK and Kindergarten:
Please drive up to the Village for pick-up.

Intercession Dates

Intercession is an opportunity for Scholarship Prep students to engage in enriching educational activities while making unforgettable memories during our academic year breaks.

Our ELO Manager and the YMCA will provide registration details as these dates get closer.

Intercession will take place between 8am - 5pm on the following dates:

  • Fall Intercession: November 25th-27th
  • Winter Intercession: January 9th-10th
  • Spring Intercession: April 7th-11th
  • Summer Intercession: June 2nd-27th

With this funding, Scholarship Prep will continue to enhance our community school model, focusing on daily social-emotional learning, trauma-informed education, as well as family and stakeholder engagement.
