Posted on January 21, 2019
As we get into our second semester, I thought it would be fun to take a look back on some of the great times we have had so far this year. We met new friends, learned a lot, and had a lot of fun. I hope you enjoy this look back at our first semester of first grade.

Parent Teacher Conferences
Posted on October 5, 2018

Hi Everyone!

As most of you know, parent teacher conference week is coming up soon. From the 15th through the 19th of October, students will have minimum days and I will have the opportunity to meet with all of you to discuss how the year has been going so far. It is suggested that both parents attend these conferences so that both are on the same page with the child's education. In order to meet the diverse schedule needs of everyone, I have opened up some more time slots for next week as well. So if you would like to get your conference out of the way, you are welcome to do that. In order to schedule your conference, all you need to do is click the link in this sentence or at the bottom of this post. From there, you will select your day and time. It's that easy. If a day or time is not listed, then that means it has already been selected or is not available. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Fry Sight Words - A complete list of the Fry sight words. First graders should master a minimum of the first 100 words by the end of the year. Ideally, students will exceed the minimum and be well into the higher lists. Do not move on from the red list until the student has shown complete mastery of the entire list.

Prodigy Math Game - Students love prodigy!!! It is a math game where they explore different worlds and use math to cast spells. Problems are set by the teacher, me, so they will always mirror what we are learning in class.
