See's Candy Fundraiser!
Posted on January 16, 2019
Dear Families of SPCS Sixth Grade Students, We are excited to announce our newest fundraiser for the upcoming CIMI field trip in April! Both Team Notre Dame and Team Yale, have the opportunity to sell See's Candy items for a Valentine's Day Special! The company offers an amazing program, donating 50% of all sales to our sixth grade team! Students will have the opportunity to sell to their neighbors, family members, friends, parent's colleagues, and so forth. This is also a perfect opportunity to purchase gifts for loved ones during the special holiday! Each student will need to take responsibility for logging their orders correctly on the forms, and collecting checks or cash. Please submit orders to Mrs. Hunker no later than January 25th.

Just a reminder that this week is minimum days everyday for parent teacher conferences. We are all a team, therefore, I encourage students to attend our conferences so that they can be up to date on their progress. Cannot wait to see everyone.

Friday, Yale got an opportunity to introduce the reading room to their buddies, Duke!
Hi my name is Molly Kamari and I am so excited to be joining the Scholarship Prep team as a 6th grade teacher! I believe education is a key that opens doors that would have otherwise been closed to individuals. As an educator, I pride myself on providing students with the confidence they need to succeed both academically and socially.
A vital component of being a great teacher is being a lifelong learner. My love for education grew with each degree I accomplished after High School. Growing up in Los Angeles, I completed my Associates Degree in Communication Studies at Citrus College. From there, I moved to San Diego where I continued my educational journey attending The University of San Diego for my Bachelors in Communication Studies then my M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction.
When I am not in my classroom, I enjoy spending time traveling, being with my family and friends, going to movies and playing with my dog Hank.
