Summer Intersession at Scholarship Prep Oceanside was a huge success this year! Divided into three unique blocks, STEAM Camp, Camp of The Arts, and Fitness Camp, a record number of students attended this free program over a four-week period.

At STEAM Camp, students engaged in coding, science experiments, and building challenges. The sessions culminated in a Shark Tank-style challenge where student creativity flourished as they designed enhancements for their school.

Next, Scholars had the opportunity to participate in ceramics, drawing, dance, and drama at our Camp of The Arts. Here, students explored working with clay and took part in improv classes.

During Fitness Camp, students had the opportunity to participate in a range of sports such as volleyball, soccer, basketball, and dodgeball, as well as learn the basics of baseball and softball - a popular activity among the campers.

Overall, our summer session provided abundant enrichment fun and exposed students to new experiences, all fueled by free nutritious meals and snacks!
