About Jessica Leahy Ms. Jessica Leahy is a San Diego native, who grew up in East County mostly. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders from San Diego State University as well as her Education Specialist Teaching Credential. She has spent the bulk of her educational career as an Education Specialist in the Poway Unified School District. She recently completed her Master’s degree in Educational Administration along with her Administrative Credential from National University.
In her free time, Ms. Leahy enjoys beach activities, baking, painting, and exploring local hiking trails. She has completed multiple half marathons and a triathlon. Ms. Leahy has a passion for inclusion, equity, and building relationships. Ms. Leahy began here at Scholarship Prep as Dean of Student Support, moving to Interim Principal, and is eager to continue being a champion for all Scholars as Principal of Scholarship Prep Oceanside.
